Tools, Downloadable manipulatives, etc

  • Of course, we will start with my favorite site: K-5 Math Teaching Resourceshttp://www.k-5mathteachingresources.com/ - Truly a remarkable place for games, tools, downloadable tools, Whiteboard activities, etc.

  • Math Worksheet Land - http://www.mathworksheetsland.com   -This site has TONS of extra math worksheets and quizzes that you can use.  They are all aligned by standard.  Some are better than others, but there is a lot of usable material for when you need extra practice beyond our resources.

  • Xtra Math - https://xtramath.org/ - This is a FREE online math fact practice site.  With your chromebooks, this site can be used instead of a paper and pencil program for ongoing math fact practice.  It keeps track of all of your students' progress, as well!

    • Free Dreambox Learning Teacher Tools -WOW! This is awesome! Dreambox Learning has free games and virtual tools (you just need to submit your email) If you have access to a projector - you can do quick images with dot cards, ten frames, rekenreks.  Also has number combinations to any number and open number line activities.  And ALSO has a snap cube activity that practices equivalent expressions. http://www.dreambox.com/teachertools-match-n-make

    • FREE FRACTION ONLINE TOOLS! CONCEPTUA MATH has developed free tools for the conceptual learning of fractions. These are great for using with your projector or SmartBoard or for kids to use with Chromebooks! https://www.conceptuamath.com/app/tool-library
